We haven't had Jade's in a few years. We ordered take out. The experience from placing my order over the phone to pick up was great! The food is still as good as I remember it from my childhood days! Delicious!
Service is always great, the staff is friendly and very attentive, ambiance is not up to date but it will do, they can take large party groups. The food is phenomenal for being a Peruvian Chinese Cuisine Restaurant. Their chaufa is the best around. Try the Chancho con Tamarindo too.
Had heard of this place from family but finally had a chance to try it this week. Popped in on a Wed evening and boy was it busy for a weeknight! Shared a Jalea, lomo Saltado de res, fried fish, wonton soup and arroz chaufa especial. All was delish! Will def go back again.
Ok guys, this is your diner, dives, and in type of place. It's good eats, but unfortunately you have to experience new dishes and explore to maximize experience here. I would go family style, order a few dishes to eat and share amongst your party. My go to is arroz chaufa, tallarin salteado, pollo cinco sabores, tortilla de camaron, and chancho de Tamarindo. I've also done soup medleys, fuchi fu, wonton, etc.. if you go and choose the same thing over and over, you are missing out. Explore your taste buds will thank you, provechos!!
The only place around that serves Chifa like what you'd have in Peru. The chaufa is always great and their wantans fritos are addictive! The place is split in two and pretty spacious but tends to be packed so be ready for a wait. It's less welcoming than other Peruvian restaurants and if you're not used to that (non-American restaurants) it might feel like they're rude so beware if you bring any non-latinos. I keep coming back every once in a while because the food makes it worth it.
